This app provides plant identification service. You simply take a picture of an unknown plant (or moss, lichen and even fungi) and get it identified by international team of experts.
The identification process is not computer-based, it requires human involvement. Therefore each identification is paid using in-app purchase. One plant identification costs 1 USD / 0.7 EUR. If we cant identify your plant, you dont pay anything.
Everybody gets three identification credits for free as a trial.
Our team will respond as soon as possible, but the identification usually takes minutes or hours. So far, we have been able to identify 90% plants in average.

Some bad moments
Those attempting to identify plants couldnt identify a common weed known as Polkberry. It took two days for them to tell me that they couldnt identify.
My plants were identified quickly and accurately. Unfortunately, you only get three IDs for the 99 cents you pay for the app. All remaining IDs cost $1 unless you purchase 20 for $15, which means youre still paying $.75 for each ID. Might as well buy a book and look them up yourself. Neat idea, might be worth it if each ID was $0.10.
Dont bother with this app. The so-called "botanists" often cant identify the images posted. Youre better off posting for free in the Daves Garden plant identification forum where youll get fast accurate identification of plants from other gardeners around the world.
Just started using this Ap and so far very impressed.
Took my picture and hot a response in about 10minutes
Waited 24 hours to have them tell me they couldnt ID a plant and then asked me for more money to ID a different plant. Waste of money.
Works great! I want to identify a plant quite often and there just wasnt a simple tool to help me. Now there is!
